Make your room sound right
Acoustic treatment for home studios, podcast corners, home theaters, and echoey offices in Reno and Sparks. Planned by someone with a music production and sound design background, installed with a builder's care.
Why rooms sound bad
Most rooms have the same three problems, and each has a fix you can hear the same day.
Flutter echo
Parallel bare walls bounce sound back and forth, making a ringing, metallic tail. Fixed with absorption panels at the reflection points.
Boomy, uneven bass
Low notes build up in corners and swing loud and quiet depending on where you sit. Fixed with thick corner bass traps.
Muddy voices and mixes
Early reflections from side walls and ceiling blur speech and stereo detail. Fixed with panels at the first-reflection points.
Video calls that sound hollow
Hard home offices make you sound far away. A few well-placed panels make you sound present and clear.

Pick your fabric on measuring day
We bring fabric samples to your sound check, so you choose colors in your own room and light, holding them against your walls and furniture. Mix colors if you like. Then we build your panels to order.
We do acoustic treatment, which changes how a room sounds inside. Soundproofing that keeps sound from leaving a room takes construction we don't offer.
Room echo estimator
Enter your room and how you use it. We estimate how long sound rings (RT60) and how many panels bring it where it should be.
How it works
Sound check and fabric
We measure your room with a calibrated mic and test tones, listen where you sit, and you pick fabric colors from samples in your own light.
Plan
You get a panel layout and a fixed price. The sound check fee is credited if you go ahead.
Build, install, re-measure
We build your panels by hand in your colors. They go up level and clean, then we measure again so you can see and hear the change.
Acoustic treatment questions
What's the difference between acoustic treatment and soundproofing?
Acoustic treatment controls how sound behaves inside a room: less echo, tighter bass, clearer voices. Soundproofing stops sound from passing through walls, which takes construction like added wall layers. We do treatment, not soundproofing construction.
Will the panels damage my walls?
Panels hang on small clips or hooks, so they come down leaving only a few small anchor holes that patch easily.
Do foam panels work?
Thin foam only tames the highest frequencies and can leave a room sounding dull and boomy. We build our own 2 inch mineral wool panels wrapped in acoustically clear fabric, which absorb a much wider range.
Can I choose the fabric color?
Yes. We bring fabric samples to your sound check and you pick colors right there, against your own walls and lighting. You can mix colors, for example dark panels behind a TV and lighter ones on side walls.
Can I use panels I already bought?
Yes. Choose the install-only price and we'll place and hang your panels for the best effect.
What does the sound check include?
We measure the room with a calibrated microphone and test tones, find echo and bass problems, and give you a written plan with a panel layout. You also pick your fabric colors from our samples. The $149 is credited toward any install.
How long does an install take?
Most rooms take 2 to 4 hours.
